We live in far Northern Minnesota, and this gift was for my wife, to give her a little warmth on very cold mornings.This has been a little disappointing. While the rack seems to be of high quality, the towels don't get as warm as she'd hoped. So it works fine for drying towels, but if you are expecting really to pull a really warm towel off the rack on a cool morning, you might want to consider another option, like a towel warming cabinet
